I’ve spent more than 11 years designing publications, advertising, packaging, games, displays, and all sorts of other things that eventually have to leave the computer screen and work in somebody’s hands.

My favorite projects tend to combine good visual design with a practical problem to solve: organizing a complicated publication, figuring out how information should fit on a small package, building a consistent set of materials from an existing brand, or getting a complex print project ready to manufacture.

What it’s like to work with me

I like complicated projects.

A lot of my career has involved projects with many moving pieces—recurring publications, tabletop games with dozens of components, convention displays, packaging, and materials produced by outside printers and manufacturers. I’m comfortable taking a pile of information, requirements, assets, and constraints and turning it into something organized and usable.

I’m also used to working independently, communicating directly with vendors and factories, keeping track of revisions, and preparing files that someone else ultimately has to print, manufacture, publish, or install.
